Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists his team can turn around their poor form after another defeat.

The Clarets were bundled out of the Carabao Cup in the fourth round by Nuno Espirito Santo's Tottenham.

A 1-0 home defeat meant that Burnley missed out on a chance to win silverware this season.

The Clarets had chanced to score against Spurs, but a Lucas Moura header was the only goal of the game.

Dyche said post-game: "The attitude is correct and the belief in what we are trying to do is correct and we just have to find those moments

"A lot of the performance is right We know the challenge of the Premier League, that is the important part of any season

"The players know that. We always bring a positivity to how we work at the training ground.

"There were a lot of changes tonight but I thought there were a lot of good performances so they are all knocking on the door"
