Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists there's no panic at Turf Moor after a winless start to the season.

His side welcome Brentford to Turf Moor on Saturday and the Clarets, who are 18th in the Premier League are still searching for their first top-flight win this term.

"Our players believe in the performance levels and that is a good start, we are not naïve, we have to turn that into wins," he says.

"There's no serious bits from last night [Tottenham in the EFL Cup], a couple of knocks and bruises here and there, Wayne (Hennessey) will probably be a doubt for the weekend."

Dyche says that the Clarets are trying to ease summer signing Maxwel Cornet into life in the Premier League.

"We've had to be careful, not because he's not fit, because he is and he's athletic, but the Premier League is different, I think he's developing into the group, we just have to manage that."

Dyche also had some praise for another summer arrival in Connor Roberts: "Ideally he would have had more game time but he did have some in the international window, he is a good athlete, I thought he adapted very well last night and he's settling well."
