Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists there's no issues with Donny van de Beek.
Solskjaer reckons he was a substitute more than anyone else at the club, so he understands Van de Beek's frustrations.
Van de Beek was visibly annoyed at not getting on during Wednesday's Champions League win over Villarreal, throwing some chewing gum to the ground in disgust.
Solskjaer defended the Dutchman in his media briefing this lunchtime.
"I manage international footballers, competitive people, who all want to play," he said. "Donny was ready to come on.
"I have been a sub more than anyone. I was not happy a few times. That is the decision the manager makes.
"I understand frustration. Every player is keen to play. When they get on, they have to show me. Not just Donny, everyone.
"The one thing I would say is that Donny has never affected team-mates negatively. If that happens with anyone, it is a different scenario."
