Donny van de Beek took up a coaching role for Manchester United's win at Tottenham.

The Manchester Evening News says the Dutchman has still only played five minutes of football in the Premier League this season and his lack of game time has been perplexing for many supports.

And before the Spurs game, Van de Beek was spotted by a supporter seemingly helping the warm-up.

Van de Beek was spotted teeing up the ball for United's players in a pre-match shooting drill.

The fan commentated that he thought the midfielder was doing the job of a coach, and Van de Beek's non-appearance from the bench was unsurprising at Tottenham.
