Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter is putting new contract talks on hold.
The Germany international's current deal expires in June. Ginter is interesting Bayern Munich, along with Premier League duo Tottenham and Liverpool.
Ginter said: “In fact, there has not yet been an offer for a contract extension, because I also know about the difficulties that corona means for all clubs. Borussia had already spent a lot of money in anticipation of this season, but then could not generate the income that might have been possible without corona. So we have to wait and see."
The 27-year-old is not thinking about changing clubs at the moment: “Ultimately, I don't worry about it anyway because my head is fully involved with Borussia. I would find it disrespectful to play at Borussia Mönchengladbach and wear the foal jersey, but at the same time speculate about other clubs."
