Borussia Monchengladbach teen Luca Netz admits he rejected Manchester City as a junior player.
The 18 year-old left-back had an offer from City when 15, but turned it down.
“Because I think it's rubbish to move to City at such a young age," Netz told BILD.
"Even if I received another offer now, I would decline it. I have a clear plan and it's just way too early for the Premier League right now.
"First of all, it is important for me to play at Borussia, to gain experience and to develop continuously. Then we will see what happens in a few years."
