Juventus managing director Maurizio Arrivabene admits losing Cristiano Ronaldo was a blow.
Ronaldo left Juve for Manchester United in the final days of the summer market.
Arrivabene said at yesterday's shareholders' meeting: “The operation (Cristiano) Ronaldo brought big benefits from a sporting point of view, but also in terms of image, not only for Juventus but also for all Italian football.
"It is obvious that with the departure of Ronaldo, other scenarios open up. When a great champion leaves, what are the effects? In his absence, there are those who will score anyway, like (Karim) Benzema at Real Madrid.
"The real loss is responsibility, a champion takes a lot with him. We have to help the team take on this responsibility, get them used to it again."
