Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is delighted with their form facing Tottenham this weekend.
Villa have kick-started their season with back-to-back Premier League wins against Everton and Manchester United to move into the top 10.
Reflecting on their start to the season, Villa boss Smith said: "The first three games were not what we wanted but since then, our performance levels have been right up there.
"The Villa fans have had a lot of suffering against Manchester United so it was nice to get the victory over the performance."
Asked whether the team is stronger following the £100m summer sale of Jack Grealish, Smith added: "Grealish was an excellent talent, if he wasn't he wouldn't have gone for a record fee.
"When you have an exceptional talent you use it. With him going we have more balance, depth and are more adaptable."
