AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is facing wrist surgery.

Maignan will have keyhole surgery on Wednesday to resolve a recurring wrist problem.

He was on the bench for France during the Nations League, which his team won by beating Spain 2-1 in the Final at San Siro.

However, a statement released by the club this evening confirms Maignan is continuing to feel pain in his left wrist.

It's suggested the operation will need 10-15 days' recovery.
