Sassuolo coach Alessio Dionisi says their 3-1 defeat of Venezia was deserved.

David Okereke had Venezia 1-0 ahead before Domenico Berardi equalised, then a Thomas Henry own goal and finally Davide Frattesi struck for the 3-1 win.

“We had started quite well, but we didn't end the half badly either," Dionisi told DAZN.

“There was a sense of consistency and we are pleased with that. The result was deserved. I am pleased we've scored for five consecutive matches, but that is a consequence of the general attitude.

“The objective is to have the players in the right positions to give their best. We already went from a 4-3-3 to the 4-2-3-1 in Genoa, so it depends on our availability as well as the characteristics of our opponents.

“Venezia were dangerous on the counter-attack and we could've done better to limit them in those situations."
