Arsenal are hoping to integrate youngster Mika Biereth into the first team this term.
The Gunners added Biereth to the academy ranks as a free transfer from Fulham, where he turned down a professional contract.
He has impressed this term, and scored for the Under-23s against Blackburn Rovers on Monday night.
According to football.london, Mikel Arteta is very impressed with Biereth and wants to slowly bring him into the fold this season.
The Swede now has five goals and three assists in 12 Premier League 2 games.
