Kota Kinabalu: A Sabahan MP wants Putrajaya to restore Sabah and Sarawak’s judicial autonomy which had been eroded in constitutional amendments passed without the consent of the Sabah and Sarawak state assemblies.
Tuaran Member of Parliament (MP), Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau, said Article 122AB of the Federal Constitution was passed in 1994, without explanation or rationale, which brings to question the validity of the amendment.
