Real Betis great Joaquin admits this season will be his last as a player.
Now 40, Joaquin says he is planning to hang up the boots at the end of this campaign.
"What happens is that I am 40 years old. The other day I played with players who were not even born when I made my debut for Betis," Joaquin told Marca.
"I'm already past my best used by date and this will be my last season.
"But we hope to make it a great season and I really want to enjoy it."
With Betis over two spells, Joaquin has played a total of 427 competitive matches.
