Patino has not made his first team debut, but is impressing manager Mikel Arteta behind the scenes.
Speaking to Vavel, he said: "It's been a brilliant experience working alongside the first team coaches and players.
"You really see how good you have to be to earn a place in the squad.
"All of the players have been really supportive, and I've had regular chats with Alexandre Laca(zette), Ben (White), Pablo (Mari), Emile (Smith Rowe) and Bukayo (Saka)."
