Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze could make his return against Wolves on Saturday.
The news has come as a shock to observers after Eze suffered a serious Achilles injury back in May.
The Englishman was expected to sidelined until the start of 2022.
However, The Sun says Eze is in contention to return this weekend after playing 62 minutes for Palace's U23 side.
The 23-year-old impressed in his debut season at Selhurst Park, having joined from QPR for £16million in the summer of 2020.
