Former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder insists Leeds United's injury record has worked against them this season.
The Whites have missed several of their key players simultaneously in a number of matches this season which has seen them win just two of their opening ten matches.
But speaking on Match of the Day 2, Wilder highlighted the calibre of players Leeds have missed at times and how important they are given Marcelo Bielsa's preference of a smaller squad.
He said: “I think that Marcelo runs with a small squad, or at least smaller than usual. The injured players are huge players for them.
“Ayling's a huge player, Bamford's a huge player. Phillips coming back - England international - and the boy today (Raphinha) came back last week, played his part in getting a result and obviously today he was a different class to anyone on the pitch."
