Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall says a lot of positives could be taken from their 3-3 draw with Brentford.

The Toon coach orchestrated things from the dugout with manager Eddie Howe isolating and watching a live feed back the hotel.

Speaking after the 3-3 draw against Brentford, Tindall said: "There is a lot more work to be done.

"We have already done a lot of hard work

"We continue to work hard and hopefully that will go a long way to making us a better team.

"We can't focus on the league table we can only focus on ourselves."

Tindall spoke of the tricky dynamics involved with today's preparations.

He said: "There were lots of positives to take from the game. We had a constant dialogue with Eddie. He had a live feed and watched the game.

"We made decisions and they helped and got us back in the game."

And reflecting on the atmosphere at St James'.

He said: "It was an incredible atmosphere.

"And we know how important they are going to be going forward."
