Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel spoke about his decision to drop dropping Ben Chilwell and Reece James for their 1-0 win over Malmo in the Champions League.
The Blues had to work hard to break the Malmo defense, getting their goal through good link up play between Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech.
James and Chilwell were both on the bench for the game, with Tuchel explaining that squad rotation is important as the games come in thick and fast.
"It's a tough one because they have been so decisive. It is an intense position, you saw how much they invested with a lot of sprints," Tuchel said.
"We have a lot of matches. At the same time we have good guys from behind so we can keep the same intensity levels hopefully up high in these positions and let Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta start."
