Kjell Scherpen says he's happy at Brighton.
The Holland U21 goalkeeper joined Brighton last summer from Ajax for a fee of €5m.
Scherpen told De Telegraaf: “I would have the first year to adjust to the club, the level and the Premier League. And to play as much as possible where possible.
"I'm just taking steps. The training sessions with the firsts are of a high level. I train in everything, I also feel myself getting stronger. That is positive."
On competing with Jason Steele to backup Robert Sanchez, Scherpen added: “I don't necessarily worry that it has to happen now, even if I want nothing more than to break through. Brighton has a plan for me. I have plenty of time and I know what I chose."
