The title is handed out to the best goalkeeper in the world for 2021.
Donnarumma beat out Chelsea shot-stopper Edouard Mendy to the award.
The 22-year-old won Euro 2020 with Italy.
Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak finished third in the 2021 ceremony with Manchester City ace Ederson in fourth and Bayern Munich veteran Manuel Neuer ranked fifth.
