Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has welcomed Harvey Elliott back to training.
Elliott dislocated his ankle in the away win at Leeds in September and has undergone surgery to put him on the path to recovery.
He took to the training pitch for the first time on Tuesday.
The Liverpool Echo says in Liverpool training, Klopp was captured going over to Elliott and giving him one of his famous hugs.
The Reds manager will be hoping to see the return of the midfielder sooner rather than later as Liverpool are already without Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino going into a hectic festive period.
No time scale was put on the return of Elliott but it seems he may return sooner than what was initially thought at the time of the injury.
