Leeds United winger Raphinha is emerging this season as among the most dominant dribblers in the Premier League.
Via the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post, of all players to have attempted at least 40 dribbles so far this season, Raphinha is ranked sixth in the entire division, behind only Adama Traore, Allan Saint-Maximin, Lucas Moura, Moussa Djenepo and Valentino Livramento.
A dribble is defined as an active action performed by a player in order to get through an opponent and players are ranked according to a Dribble Index, such as the percentage of successful dribbles divided by the dribbling attempt frequency (minutes of play per dribble).
Raphinha's dribble index equates to 3.94, just 0.11 behind Livramento, who is the player one place ahead of him.
He also attempts a dribble every 12:56 minutes per 90 minutes, which is the fifth most in the division and highlights the creative impact he has on the Leeds side.
