Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hein is recovering after suffering an injury with the U23s.

He suffered an injury in the closing stages of the U23s' 3-3 draw with Leicester City last weekend.

Hein had to be substituted, with striker Mika Biereth going in goal as Arsenal had already used all three of their substitutes, reports the Jeorge Bird Arsenal youth website.

He withdrew from the Estonia squad and is now facing two months on the sidelines.

This news comes as a blow for Hein and could scupper any plans for him to go on loan in January.
