Newcastle United are keen to sign Lazio keeper Thomas Strakosha in the January transfer window.

The Magpies sent a scout to watch Strakosha in the Europa League last week, per The Sun.

The 26-year-old, who has 16 caps for his native Albania, is out of contract in the summer.

Newcastle want a deal done on January 1st and will attempt to offer Lazio enough money so they agree to a quick sale.

The club are also monitoring Marc-Andre Ter Stegen of Barcelona and Manchester United's Dean Henderson.
