Raul Albiol has signed a new contract with Villarreal.
The defender, now 36, has extended his agreement to the end of the 2022/23 season.
Albiol, 36, has played regularly with all the coaches he has had at the club, with whom he has already accumulated a total of 98 competition games, 47 of them since current coach Unai Emery's arrival.
Should he reach the end of the new deal it will mark 20 seasons in top-flight football for Albiol.
Albiol has also played for Getafe, Real Madrid and Napoli.
