James Rodriguez was given his marching orders for Al-Rayyan against Al-Arabi.

The former Real Madrid midfielder and Everton attacker lost his head on the referee after getting a yellow card for an incident that did not even involve him.

The 30-year-old was furious after the first yellow, which caused him to get a second yellow and a red card.

Rodriguez was making his third appearance for Al-Rayyan since leaving Everton in the summer.

Fans of the Qatari club will be hoping to see a lot more from Rodriguez in the coming weeks and months, as they are sixth in the Qatar Stars League at present.
