Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was happy to see Granit Xhaka back in defeat at Everton.
Xhaka sustained a knee injury against Tottenham on September 26, he wasn't expected to return until the New Year.
But the Swiss international returned to the starting XI on Monday night against Everton, a month ahead of schedule.
Despite a disappointing result at Goodison Park, Arteta is delighted to have Xhaka back in his matchday squad.
"It's the way he works and it's the way he is," he told Arsenal Media.
"Credit to the medical team as well for the work that they've done and it's great to have him back."
