Brendan Rodgers believes Liverpool's depth helped them overcome Leicester City on Wednesday.
Jurgen Klopp fielded a young side in the Carabao Cup quarter-final, with Leicester going up 3-1 in the match.
But the Reds fought back to equalise and eventually win on penalties.
"We were good for the lead and should have scored another goal in the first half at least," Rodgers said.
"The quality of players they can bring in really pushed us. The goal we gave away we were in a really good position."
