Brighton striker Neal Maupay was delighted after their 2-0 win against Brentford.
Maupay struck for the victory at Falmer stadium.
He later said, "Such a big win for us.
"We hadn't won for such a long, long time. Everyone was talking about it. This was a really good performance from the team. Recently we haven't won but we were playing every game like we were going to win. Football is hard, it was never going to be easy. We pushed a lot and never gave up. We have some injuries, it is a tough time for everyone but we are working hard and believe in ourselves.
“It was just good to get a win and get a goal again. I needed that. It is not any nicer to score against my former club. I didn't want to celebrate because they are the club that gave me a chance four years ago. No-one wanted to sign me in France, they were basically the only one who gave me the chance. It is a great club.
"When you don't win in a while people start talking and it starts putting a bit of pressure on. This is a good night for us."
