The London Evening Standard says Antonio Conte will have the chance to begin reshaping his squad and accelerate Tottenham's rebuild in January.
Conte has spent his first two months in charge closely assessing his players before delivering his recommendations to Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici.
Spurs are in the transfer market for a new forward and right wing-back who can offer more in the final third than Emerson Royal, with Doherty among the players who are free to leave as part of the rebuild.
The club is expected to consider offers for Dele Alli, with a loan exit most likely.
However, Dele offered a timely reminder of what he can offer in the recent draw with Liverpool and Conte has challenged him the make the performance a “starting point" – suggesting he could still have an unlikely Spurs future.
