Former Southampton, Bologna and Sampdoria midfielder Gaston Ramirez has signed for Serie B Monza.
Ramirez has been without a club since leaving Samp in July 2021 and has been announced as a new Monza player today.
He joins on a six-month contract.
“Gaston Ramirez is a new player of Monza," the club wrote on their official website. “The talented midfielder has signed a contract with the Biancorossi until June 30, 2022.
“He's the first Uruguayan player at the club. Welcome Gaston."
