Mavropanos is in his second season on-loan with VfB, where his form has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.
"I'm really enjoying my time in Stuttgart, the environment is fantastic - of course I can imagine staying here for a long time," said the 24-year-old to Spox.
"I don't know what the future will bring, but I know that I feel incredibly comfortable at VfB."
Mavropanos' deal with VfB includes a permanent option set at €3m.
