AC Milan wing-back Alessandro Florenzi admits Liverpool were superior at key moments in last night's defeat.
The 2-1 home loss ends Milan's Champions League campaign this season.
Florenzi said, "We came to the end to play for it all in the last game.
"If you go and see our losses, they have never been large but by a goal.
"This means that, as I said before, the Champions League is a matter of details: you pay a great price, tonight we were on par with a great team, now we have to do our best to achieve our goals and relive these emotions next year."
