Tottenham moved into the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup after they edged out West Ham with a 2-1 victory.

Steven Bergwijn got Spurs on their way after 29 minutes thanks to an assist from Pierre Hojbjerg.

But the lead only lasted three minutes when a poor clearance from Eric Dier resulted in Nikola Vlasic having a shot and the ball falling to Jarrod Bowen who finished past Hugo Lloris.

However, Spurs retook the lead just two minutes later with Lucas Moura scoring following Bergwijn's pullback.

David Moyes' side almost forced penalties but Andriy Yarmolenko's terrific looping effort hit the crossbar three minutes into stoppage time.

Antonio Conte will be hoping to end the club's long wait for a trophy.

Spurs last won a piece of silverware in 2008 when they lifted the League Cup.
