Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard has been impressed working with football chief Johan Lange.
Gerrard admits he appreciates the attention to detail of Lange.
He said, "We are very thorough and detailed in our recruitment process.
"I have been really impressed with Johan and the employees around him in the scouting and recruitment department in relation to the details and the work I have seen so far.
"We look at everything, so it will probably also come along. But we make decisions based on whether a particular person is the one who can come in and make the team better.
"We're combing it all. It would not be right of me to comment on what I would do or not do in such a situation. But of course it is included in the background analysis."
