Former Barcelona star Ronald De Boer says his former club have failed to replace their greatest players.
De Boer insists Barca need to replace their homespun icons.
He said on Ziggo Sport: "Barcelona naturally looks back looking for the golden years, with Xavi, Iniesta, Carles Puyol, all those guys with whom the club won the six-titles with this generation in 2009.
"I think they have lived from that too long.
"They always shout: 'La Masia, youth'. Sometimes you have to dare to put in these types of players."
