Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has named Erling Haaland as one of the best young talents in world football.
Reports this week have revealed United boss Ralf Rangnick is using his connection with Haaland's father, Alf-Inge Haaland, to bring the Norwegian striker to Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old has a fan in Ronaldo, but the Portuguese has warned he needs to continue to produce on a consistent basis.
Asked about Haaland's future, Ronaldo said to The Mirror: "It is hard to choose just one player to say this one will be the best.
"But I think it is exciting to see this new generation of young players, like Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, who are coming through.
"Some players can have one or two great seasons, the really great players are the ones that keep doing it season after season, and that is not so easy to do.
"It takes a lot of hard work, and a lot of commitment."
