On-loan from Arsenal, Uruguay midfielder Torreira has impressed for La Viola coach Vincenzo Italiano.
And such has been his form, Fiorentina are ready to trigger the permanent option in his deal.
That's according to Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, who said: "Fiorentina are ready to use the option to buy to sign Lucas Torreira on a permanent deal from Arsenal.
"Readying a contract until 2026 (€3M/year)."
