Southampton defender Jan Bednarek was delighted to score in victory at West Ham.
The defender's second goal in three games ensured Saints were to come out on top in an enthralling five-goal thriller, one which lifted Ralph Hasenhüttl's side into 14th place in the table.
"I enjoyed it," the Pole remarked. "It was an intensive game. Lots of things were happening, lots of ups and downs but at the end of the day we are happy because we got three points away. That hasn't happened many times this season so we're happy with that.
"We did a good game. We changed our formation and we've managed to perform very well. We have to keep on going now because it's a very busy schedule. We are prepared and we hopefully can get another three points on Tuesday.
"When you play teams like that it's very difficult to keep clean sheets. Lots of crosses so there was a bit of defending to do but we handled it.
"Great ball from Prowsey, we were practicing the day before so we're very happy with that. As a defender, you just try to stop goals as good as you can. If you can help in the opposition box then that's also great.
"We can be satisfied with what we did today but another game on Tuesday which we have to be ready for. Short time to recover but I think we will be ready. Everybody at this club wants to play so I think with a few fresh bodies we'll be ready. There is no chance to recover properly, but you have to do everything you can mentally to be ready for another game."
