Barcelona have announced the signing of Manchester City attacker Ferran Torres.

City accepted an offer worth an initial €55m for the Spain international last week.

The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract at the Nou Camp which Barcelona have publicised contains a buyout clause of €1bn (£841m).

A tweet from City read: 'Ferran Torres has left Manchester City and completed a permanent move to Barcelona.'

Torres was unveiled in a video on Barcelona's official website, where he lined up alongside a number of the club's other promising youngsters, with Pedri, Ansu Fati and former City team-mate Eric Garcia.

"Hello Culers, I am very happy to announce that today I will join the club. See you soon," Torres said in a video.
