Barcelona have announced a media conference for Wednesday with Sergio Aguero.
At the ceremony, president Joan Laporta will also be in attendance.
It's expected the former Manchester City striker Aguero will confirm his retirement after suffering a heart scare on his debut against Rayo Vallecano earlier this season.
Aguero was informed on November 2 that he needed three months of recovery by Barca's medical staff.
The Argentina international joined Barca last summer in a Bosman deal from City.
