Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara says Liverpool defender Joel Matip should've been sent off in their defeat at Leicester City yesterday.

Matip was booked in the opening five minutes of the match, but Leicester fans and players wanted a red shown after Kelechi Iheanacho fell awkwardly following an aerial battle.

"Matip should be off," said O'Hara.

"I hate players that lean over and players go over the top, could break his neck, refs need to stamp it out."

Jurgen Klopp's side are now six points behind Manchester City, who have the chance to make that nine with a win at Brentford tonight.
