Manchester United are showing serious interest in River Plate striker Julian Alvarez.
The Red Devils are monitoring the 21-year-old, who has been outstanding for the Argentine club this term.
Alvarez has 24 goals and 15 assists in 46 matches this season.
Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Atlético Madrid have all shown some interest in the player in recent months.
According to Ole in Argentina, United have put in a call to River Plate over the past few weeks about doing a deal.
River do not want to sell Alvarez unless someone pays his release clause, which is reportedly around £17 million to £21 million.
