River Plate striker Julian Alvarez is on Barcelona's radar.
Sport Italia says the player is on Barcelona's shopping list with the Catalans desperate for goals. The star of Marcelo Gallardo's champions River Plate, Alvarez could help with that. He has 21 in 44 games and seven assists.
Inter Milan have made a move for him, trying to repeat the deal that saw them sign Lautaro Martinez.
His release clause is 25m euros, a high number for Barcelona to match given their economic problems.
It's also been revealed Alvarez, at 11, had a trial with Real Madrid but bureaucratic problems made his signing impossible.
