Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku admits Inter Milan have surprised him under coach Simone Inzaghi this season.
Lukaku followed coach Antonio Conte out of Inter over the summer.
“I don't like to make comparisons between the two teams," he said.
“Having said that, I have to be honest: the team now is playing really good football and is top of the Serie A table.
“I really hope they will win the Scudetto again, as I love everyone there and it is also thanks to them that I became the player I am now.
“Inter and its fans, for me, deserve to be at the top. I hope the club continues to grow, that they keep winning after the Christmas break, but you never know what might happen in football."
