Former Barcelona technical chief Josep Moratalla admits they could've signed Ferran Torres before he joined Manchester City.
The Spain international is again on the agenda of Barca ahead of the January market and Moratalla admits the Catalans passed on signing Torres when he was with Valencia.
He recalled to Esport3: "Yes, we were able to sign him.
"We have always had the problem of closing operations, we made several very interesting reports about him, the last time we talked about him and negotiated he cost €7m.
"That was the last, because not only I, several colleagues made positive reports."
