Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick believes the board shouldn't seek to renew the contract of Paul Pogba.

The France midfielder's deal expires at the end of the season and the board are offering him new terms.

However, the Guardian says Rangnick believes United should allow Pogba to run down his deal and leave in June.

The German has been unimpressed by Pogba's behaviour as he's recovered from his latest injury setback. He also believes United's directors shouldn't be allowing Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, to constantly tout the midfielder to other clubs through the press.

Pogba has played nine Premier League games this season, producing seven assists.
