Brighton boss Graham Potter hailed the performance of Robert Sanchez after victory over Brentford.
The Spain international goalkeeper made two superb second-half saves to head off a potentially nervy finale in the 2-0 win.
Albion head coach Potter said: “I'm delighted for him because I think he had a period to get through in terms of he's a young goalkeeper and sometimes you're not quite at your level.
“But he has been fantastic for us since he's been in the team.
“In the Premier League, you need to play well, you need a bit of luck, you need to defend well, you need your goalkeeper to play well to get the points and we had all of that."
