Italy coach Roberto Mancini insists Chelsea midfielder Jorginho deserved this year's Ballon d'Or.
Jorginho won the Euros with Italy and the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021, but PSG star Leo Messi ended up with the coveted award.
Mancini said, "Jorginho, for everything he did, deserved the Ballon d'Or: I am convinced of it.
"An important player, fundamental for our game. I remember the penalty against Spain that brought us to the final, not the two wrong ones.
"And then I see that he continues to shoot and score from the spot ... The problem does not exist."
