Liverpool hero John Aldridge insists Jurgen Klopp is a better manager than Manchester City's Pep Guardiola.
Aldo believes Klopp has separated himself from his rivals by generating success at Anfield with a transfer net spend that doesn't come close to that of Manchester City boss Guardiola.
"Klopp and Pep Guardiola stand out, but what Pep had in his early days at City and what he spent is astronomical compared to Liverpool," Aldridge told the Sunday World.
"Jurgen just balanced the books with his transfer spending and he has turned really good players into world class players.
"You have to have a certain heart to play for Liverpool and unless you have that, he won't buy you. He has bought the right players in at the right price and the success is there for all to see.
"They have spent wisely and the money that has been brought in (from player sales) has been spent well.
"Then the biggest factor for Liverpool is keeping Jurgen Klopp because he makes the difference money wise with the other clubs. He is incredible."
